What section is our ticket allotment in?
Pittsburgh is the closest to Morgantown, WV.
If you want to do a Washington DC trip, you can fly to DC as it is about 200 miles away to WVU.

Don’t ask your wife, just tell her what you are going to do and ask if she would like to go with you. That’s what I have been doing for the 39+ years we have been married. She doesn’t like it when I drive alone because she thinks I’m too old and she complains, but I don’t pay attention to that.
Before we got married I told her there was something she had to understand; I go to UH football games home and away and I watch football and basketball on TV. I said, notice I said I go, not that I would like to go and if she had a problem with that it could be a major concern. She asked if I expected her to go and I said only if she wants to. She said she was OK with it. When she wants to go on excursions with her friends, she doesn’t ask permission from me, she just lets me know the details. We don’t ask for permission to do something, we just do it as 2 adults.

Mike, it was kind of tounge in cheek, we’ve been married 36 years ourselves. Of course she could try and balk but she doesn’t. Really looking foward to the Boulder and Morgantown trips, one with the dd and the other with an old co-worker. We took so many vacations watching softball games, the wife doesn’t do many sports related vacations now. She did go with, to see the Astros play in Pittsburgh last year. I take what I can get with her.

The thing is, I have limited my out of town trips lately, because I am old and the long drives are sometimes too daunting and the hassle of driving to the airport and flying, then renting a car, and getting a room is a pain in the butt. Not to mention the cost these days, being retired I don’t have as much disposable income as I did when I was working.
