Oregon right now. They have more money and more fans.
I think we jump SDSU like a Taze Moore if we beat Cincy.
Texas let the wrong QB leave.
Oregon and it’s not very close… If Cristobal is looking to make that move that’s a really bad move by him.
Fun fact. #18 for Utah is a 7th year senior… He played against Jim Harbaugh in first ever game as the Michigan HC way back in 2015
Meep Meep
Wasn’t Oregon ranked like 3 earlier this year lol?
They were talking on tv how Utah has took the Oregon running game out and forced the QB to beat them with his arm and he just can’t do it.
Thats just two awful beatdowns in 3 weeks against Utah.
Utah teams are tough, led by BYU. They don’t really belong in the soft pac 12, they are more a big 12 team.
They will still punch you in the mouth in Utah and that’s why they don’t belong with soft ass oregon and California.
Big 12 teams aren’t exactly known for being rugged and physical.
I can’t argue that and what does that say about the pac 12?
West coast ball has always been known for wide open offense. We all remember how those WAC teams would put up video game numbers back in the 80’s. USC had a lot of great defenses over the year but they have been lacking in recent years which is probably what got Clay Helton fired.
The Pac 12 is a joke. Can’t believe they saw the shift in conference expansion and did not participate.
I’m no expert but it seems West Coast football has lost its physicality. Yes, they always had flash but underneath the flash they still could beat you up.
These days I see the smoke and mirrors of the flash but I don’t feel the bass line underneath. It just seems fake and like a video game to me and nothing compared to Houston versus Texas in 1989.
Stanford is about the only team that plays a physical brand but they are limited to the type of athletes they get due to academic standards.
We gwt to play UTSA next year on the river walk.
Let’s not think about that until after we beat Cincy and win our bowl game.
Obtained this summary from a poster in the CSNbbs that summarizes what Cincy does to teams in the 1st quarter.
21-0 vs. Miami end of 1st Q (35-0 at half)
17-0 vs. Temple 10:14 left in 2nd Q (17-3 at half)
28-0 vs. UCF with 5:57 left in 2nd Q (35-7 at half)
14-0 vs. Tulsa 2:06 left in 1st Q (14-12 at half)
27-0 vs. SMU 9:02 left in 2nd Q (27-0 at half)
ECU was down 21-0 end of 1st qtr.
Cincy has won all its games in the first quarter. We need to weather the onslaught and keep them from going up 2 scores in the 1st quarter.
Cristobal is a very overrated coach. He may be feeling some heat from UO and is looking to reset his clock with Miami.
If he leaves, I would look at Fickell if I were Oregon.
