I apologize if my note was susceptible to misinterpretation. I know that anyone who goes through the process wants to be and is a proud American. You could fill a book with foreign born men and women who after becoming citizens (and some even before attaining that official status) made great (even the ultimate) sacrifice for our country. My question about whether Ryan’s wife would ever want to travel back to China was the result of my wondering about the travel restrictions and difficulties that Ryan mentioned.
I understand the pull of home. I grew up in my grandmother’s house (built in the 1920’s still standing) and still drive by when I am in Dallas.
And…to put the final note on this I do believe we have some naturalized citizens that are better citizens, prouder citizens and more patriotic Americans than many that are citizen by birth.
What difficulties? The rules apply to anyone that becomes a naturalized citizen. From any country!
This is awesome! Congratulations!
Isn’t it disallowed to talk about politics?
Why are you mentioning that?
