Pinehurst #2 is destroying people. So many good green shots keep rolling off.

Played on Pinehurst No. 2 several years ago. The greens are undulating, with unseen dips and curves. Traps are not a lot of fun to get in and out of. The course doesn’t play favorites.

Yes. Only way to get on the course. Similar set up at Pebble beach.

I had a Mid Pines/Tobacco Road/ Pinehurst trip booked last year but had to cancel because of a damn hurricane coming through North Carolina.

Just stay in Raleigh, one hour fifteen minute ride to Pinehurst. They have the new Golf museum too. World Golf HOF…. And you can take the train instead of Boeing.
Pinehurst is great, but go to Bandon Dunes instead. The cost is just about the same and Bandon is 100x better.
