I read with astonishment an opinion concerning the political majority on this board.
I think the implication of the post (and I could be wrong) was that the majority of the posters on this board were Liberals or there abouts.
I just couldn’t believe what I was reading.
Let’s assure this new poster that this board certainly does not lean anywhere near Liberal. It is by any measure imaginable a conservative board. The supermajority is center right, leans right, right, far right, and a few out of control trumpster right.
A few centrist and left leaning centrist (myself and a few others).
Far left, really far left, none.

I consider myself an Independent and am not registered with either party. I am likely to be more on the right side for economic and governance. Socially, I am likely more liberal. However it all depends on the issue.
That sounds about right. I’m center-left. I think you and Cheese and Cougardue and a couple of others are. We have three or more who are Trumpkins. But most here are center-right and can see Trump for the con man he is.
I won’t go to the correct thinker thing but this is probably me as well.
I don’t try to be either side or care which side I end up on for any issue. Some will be right and some left, although generally near the center.
I actually think about where I stand vs just trying to get in line with my “side” like so many do. Half baked ideas, talking points, inconsistencies, conspiracy theories, and illogical stuff drive me crazy. My personality type is one that digs into things so I have a tendency to jump on those things. Lol
Center left on the social issues surrounding current GOP genitalia and pronoun obsessions. Pro-choice with reasonable restrictions. Center on immigration, hawkish on defense and foreign policy (interventionist). Center right on financial issues. Pro-business, but tax breaks don’t help the poor.
Like most others, not really ideological. Except I won’t vote for any candidate who even hints the 2020 election was in doubt, because they are liars if they don’t believe it yet say it, and dangerous if they do.
I’m right about where you are. I’m a half a tick to the left on some social issues, but don’t get me started on pronouns. I’m pro life. Hard right on fiscal and defense/foreign policy.
