Tough break for Howard, getting a career derailed by early injuries. Just one of those things that can’t be helped unfortunately.
The Bucs continue to look everywhere possible for defensive line help, signing free agent Nick Thurman Thursday.
Thurman, 23, was a two-year starter at the University of Houston

Two weeks ago I mocked Johnson to the Cowboys in the third round. I did that partially because I know they have some interest in the player, but also partially due to Richard’s cornerback preferences.
The Bengals think highly enough of Jackson that it wouldn’t be surprising to see them start talking to him about a possible contract extension at some point in 2019, although there’s not a big rush on that.
For now, Jackson is signed through the 2020 season, when he’ll turn 28 years old.
Sounds like Ed got irritated by the P5 knock. Here’s his press conference with the Bills,
Thank you for posting. He sure did.Good luck to Ed. We will be watching you.
I want to see too. All these “experts” say is different. Alright, lets see
It’s pretty stupid, Ed had his best games vs Oklahoma and Louisville
I honestly didn’t hear much downgrading of the AAC. I think it’s more of a TV analysts thing because most NFL teams have their share of non-P5 stars and once they make a play, the local team reporters aren’t saying stuff like “that’s a pretty good play for a G5 guy.”
Dunbar and Terrell Williams waived by San Francisco:
TE Romello Brooker, Houston
Brooker’s production bloomed in his final season at the University of Houston. The young tight end pulled in 33 receptions for 409 yards and seven touchdowns as a true senior. Brooker was named the MVP of the Armed Forces Bowl the last time he stepped on the field, when he caught four receptions for 45 yards and a touchdown in the loss against Army.
