Coogs in the Pros

Sorry, totally fell off on updating this. Brandon Morris signed in Mongolia and was player of the game in his first game out there with 24 points. Will try to check up on some more guys.

C’mon, Rob! Give us the Coog sign, not the Whorn sign!!!

That’s the H-Town sign. Horn sign is facing the palm away from the person giving it.

I’ve also noticed that many of our athletes will do the cougar paw with palm facing inward, similar to how Davis is doing it in the picture.

Dude, I’ve lived in Houston my entire life (38 years) except for 3 years of grad school and I never knew Houston had its own hand sign. Live and learn.

I don’t follow the NBA so don’t know if I should give congrats or condolences, but more importantly…I’m really glad to see that Wojo landed on his feet after Barney Miller went off the air!

Congrats…going to play with Joel Embid, the guy who modeled his game after Olajuwon’s

Definitely a better spot. Sixers will make a nice run in the playoffs and have the talent to go to the Finals.

You can count 3 more after this season. Brady, Davis and Robinson will all have options to play professionally.

J. Simmons had the perfect role that fit his game.with the Spurs and decided he was too for it. Now he has paid the price. Hopefully he can fit in with Philly.

A pair of senior men’s national basketball team members were on the move recently as they signed with new clubs in Europe.

#LJ Rose will head to Estonia for the first time while JR Cadot will remain in Spain for another season.

#Rose signed with BC Valga-Valka in the Latvian-Estonian Basketball League.

#Rose’s last professional action was in his second stint in the National Basketball Association’s G-League with the Salt Lake City Stars, the G-League affiliate of the Utah Jazz.

#Rose began the season with the Stars, but appeared in just two games and averaged 2.5 points and two assists in eight minutes of play before he was initially waived.

Sorry, haven’t been on the site a ton in the last month.

Also Aubrey Coleman played in two leagues, but appears to be out of a job again. Was in Finland (2nd league) for two games, then moved to France Pro B for 5 games only averaging 5.8 points on 24% shooting. I hate to say it, but his career may be coming to a close unless he wants to keep playing in lower leagues. He made some really good money for about 6-7 years though.
