Also Rob is off to a pretty good start in France. 11.5ppg, 3.5apg, and 7-14 from 3 in 4 games. Team is 3-1 with him.
amazing !!
Hopefully, no earthquakes tonight:
Already got 2 rebounds, missed his first 2 3’s so far. Staying in the starting lineup as long as Hachimura. Last 2 still in the game.
Armoni is back in. Still no playing time for corey. Armoni os playing more than admiral schofield, who was drafted. And started over admiral
Armoni with a nice step back fade 2, announcer gave a nice shout ou, saying Armoni was from 'Waco lol. Definitely Round Rock. Mentioned Uof H and Kelvin Sampson too
Armoni looks good out there. Definitely looks like he belongs.
corey didnt play at all
armoni got a ton of early minutes and was a starter meaning he was killing it in practice
but watching im not sure how armoni can thrive in a summer league environment to a star level… his lack of handles means the ball isnt in his hand …he needs another guard to get him the ball in favorable situations (like in transition) meaning put the team first
but in a summer league type environment everyone is fighting for a job, no one is putting the team 1st… a couple 2 on 1 fast break situations with armoni running open on the 3 and not one of them even looked at armoni …everyone was trying to score for themselves, he only touched the ball if other guards were completely shut down. didnt get a goood look all game, im just glad he made one
I agree with you on this assessment. Armoni has to be more assertive in this setting to stand out. Hopefully it was just nerves in this game but his lack of handles definitely will hold him back.
Simmons was released by the Wizards
Would love for the Rockets to pick him up. Simmons can help them and with playoff experience.
Its interesting. Galen is arguably doing the best in comparison to Armoni and Corey.
I would have thought corey had the best shot at making a roster but its not looking that way.
Here’s to Armoni starting and Galen with 4 pts (2/3 fg) with four assists :).
Lets Go Corey, pick up the pace in practice to play. Devin Davis lets show out tonight!
