That didn’t quite answer my question, just repeated your belief that the WNBA is a minor league sport. My question is what would WNBA or any other minor league sport (as you describe them) need to have or accomplish to become major league?
The trends look a lot different than when the comets left. It felt like the wnba was a dying league in the mid-2000s but it stabilized and is growing now.
The recent TV deal and new stars has the wnba on the upswing. It makes a lot of sense for Tilman and Houston to get back in.
Hopefully he’ll have enough money leftover to get an NHL franchise as well.
Makes no sense for the nation’s fourth largest city to not have all of the “Big Four” pro sports league teams.
He’s done pretty well for himself over the last few years. He can probably do both.
