Smith completes his last year, Chriss transfers after this season, Keenum retires and is hired as QB coach at UH. I don’t think he is ready to be OC. After a couple of years, Keenum is promoted to OC. Keenum will have McMickle and Carlisle in 2025, and Henderson in 2026.
Why do y’all want to bring a legend back home so that people can start to hate him? Makes no sense. Leave him be.
How often does player returning as a coach returning work out? Just look at Memphis and Penny, the most recent example. I can list 10 examples, the only exception i can think of was Guy Lewis

For every failure, there is a success. Bear Bryant at Alabama, Steve Spurrier at Florida, Jim Harbaugh at Michigan and Kirby Smart at Georgia all won national championships. Mike Gundy at Oklahoma St.
I will ask this again. Do we know for sure that CK wants to go into coaching? Or is this just wishful coogfans dream?

He talked about his coaching aspirations a lot while at UH. He wanted to follow in his dad’s footsteps at the high school ranks. At this point, he might have opportunities in the pro ranks.
