CWF’s coaching staff

Novel concept. Instead of managing the charcuterie board in the press box.

I watched both interviews with Barbay and Woods and was impressed with both. I was really happy with the relationships Barbay has with so many high school coaches in Texas, particularly in Southeast Texas. It really was music to my ears to hear the emphasis on being a primarily high school recruit based program. I guess we will see how it all comes together the next couple of years.

Just hope these new coaches are stellar recruiting coaches.

Texas native and/or former Texas HS coach in bold

Very refreshing to listen to.

JD reports that Kurt Hester hired as Strength and Conditioning Coach. From Tulane, Louisiana Tech and LSU.

I hope he is another Alan Bishop.

I could be wrong but I thought CWF called the plays at Tulane? I hope we don’t have another Travis Bush or Mike Nesbit on our hands.

This guy is the real deal. I’m sure he’ll do things differently than Bishop, but he kind of has a different job.

CWF is a defense guy

Also watched their interviews on YouTube.

Thought of when I watched Belk. And Dana.

A very large upgrade.

Loved Barbay’s emphasis on the offensive line and tight end

Still think it’s funny how it worked out with Neghavi. I wonder if they consulted him on CWF before the hire.

Mike I feel we got the best Coaches possible and we will do well with them . Class Guys all !

According to Duarte, Barbay and Wood are CWF’s first two hires. What would all those others be? Are they still negotiating their contracts?
