I didnât feel like digging through all that info which is why I came here for a quick answer.
This is the new trend - former FCS guys got drafted after moving up - former g5 guys got drafted moving up and decent P4 guys looking for something moved up to ranked P4s and they got drafted - the losers normally are the teams who lose them but did the hard work of developing them

With Portal and NIL multiple schools can claim drafted players. Some of these guys are going to play for a different team almost every year. Why should only the last stop count. D1 truly has become a NFL minor league and it doesnât cost them a dime.

I think @tristatecoog meant those players played well when UH beat TCU in Ft. Worth.
This is the reward for UH players that played on a losing 2024 team but never gave up and played well enough to garner interest from NFL teams.
