Uh, no.
But they are washable, and we throw them in the washing machine after each use.

Reading that article is interesting. Carrie Bradshawâs issue wouldnât occur in our house.
We have a welcome mat at the front door. Thereâs a shoe rack just inside. People can stand on the mat or sit on a bench next to it, take off their outside shoes and place them on the rack. There are slippers waiting for them.
They then close the doors behind them; their shoes are safe on the rack inside the house in the entry hall. They can pick them up and put them on later on the way out the door when they leave.
We always lock the door and have video surveillance on our porch. Very little risk of getting your shoes stolen.
As a whole, we humans have feet issues, donât we?
Me too . My wife has trained me for 50 years as of this year. Very clean thing to do .
Iâve always been of the opinion that keeping too sanitary, especially for kids, leads to a weaker immune system. Kids and dogs sharing food builds immune systems. My Great Depression era grandma scraping mold off of bologna and cheese to make a sandwich may be why I have a garbage pail stomach.
Growing up we were told âGod made dirt and dirt donât hurt.â
Eating a little feces now and then makes you stronger. It can also kill you, but if it doesnât kill you it makes you stronger. Unless it leads to debilitating long term disability, but that also builds character.
If you ever come over the Funk Commons please leave your shoes on. The raccoons over here can smell foot odor a mile away.
Nope.
Unless Iâm gonna stay lounging at home, then I do take my shoes off (socks too) walking around my studio apt.
But isnât it supposed to smell funky at the Funk Commons?
Iâll see myself out.
I always wear shoes in my house, whether regular, sandals, or Crocs I wear for house shoes a lot when we donât have guests. I wouldnât even think of asking guests to remove their shoes. When I wear Crocs, I will also go outside in them, just not to the store or anything.
However if I ever visited someone who requested it I would adhere, but had never been so requested. I rented a condo for a week in Hawaii once and their policy had us remove shoes inside. There I think people just wear sandals a lot and leave them outside the door while bear footing it inside.
My buddy was a bilge rat on a ship. He canât hear two trash lids banging together beside his head. Said he hears the engine in his dreams. Says he wakes up yelling âblock valve!â sometimes.
