Dog days of summer

Finished planting the last rows of veggies this morning, came inside, showered, got decked out in coog gear, bout to put on the championship game against Temple, told grandma UH was on tv today. She’s 90 and can’t remember yesterday. We’re about to watch it. She says, “sure hope they win this one.” Told her I got a good feeling about it.
Go Coogs!

Great story, God bless Grandma

A good thing about memory loss is that you can hide your own Easter eggs. I’m only 69 and my memory isn’t what it used to be – not too bad, but not as good as it was just 40 years ago.

My 85 year old uncle once told me is that it’s true that you lose your mind when you get old. “But,” he added, “what they don’t tell you is that you don’t miss it.”
