There shouldnt BE any G5 autobid. And if the format changes, like SEC and BIG want, it will be eliminated. Any G5 team that makes it will need to earn it.
Earning it on the field is one thing, earning it with a P4 biased selection committee is another.

Both Fanbases were sky high in August. Now crashed to Earth without a parachute.
They sell 110,000 tickets, and get what they now have.
UT and Penn State’s NIL OL, I wonder if they spent enough?
I would say no way on Sark since he’s actually shown the ability to win a big game. Franklin on the other hand has to be there. Hes held on as long as he has because while he’ll lose the big one he usually handles business against everyone else. Now that he’s losing to teams like UCLA I don’t think the Penn St fan base will put up with him for much longer.

I don’t think the whorns are through losing. I see where they could possibly lose as many as 5 more games; OU, Kty, Miss State, Georgia and aTm. I would add Vandy, but they play Vandy in Austin.

and yes, Texas is going to lose 2 or 3 more games this year, among Okie, Georgia, Vandy and A&M. From no.1 losing 4 or 5 games…dreamland…makes me smile every day.

If you can’t guarantee the G5 schools playoff access then they need to play in a separate division. Since that isn’t happening yet the 5 champ autobid is more than fair.
Texas Tech has a new billionaire who is fairly young and wants to win. They’re gonna be hot in the conference for a while. Have we even started getting a full big12 payout yet? We’ll be fine. We have a monster coming in at QB next year.
