Haha weird, I just noticed that.
Thank the Lord. Now we need to figure out how to get 5-6 JUCOs/grad transfers that can start or get major minutes and give KB a major raise and we might be able to save face for next season.

Why does everyone want Gibbs back? Just because he was here once and everyone knows who he is? I would hope Major’s search is long and thorough. His career here depends on it.

I think that the Gibbs train is based on a guy that had an exciting defensive unit with the players that were recruited for our program. A high flying high risk high reward style that made you believe we could do something on defense every time the other team had the ball. He is also in our budget and apparently available and he knows where the men’s room is in the coaches offices.

Applewhite is a man who wants to stay here! He has improved the areas that struggled during the last two seasons. Hopefully he hires a legit DC and we keep Briles!

No it doesn’t.
The P5 DC coming to Houston will command no less than $800K on the low side. We could get a specialized coordinator like a P5 DB coach for $350K to be DC.
It’s about money now and what can we afford.
