Well I point back to your initial comment about Israel’s influence on our govern should be concerning.

I don’t think we have the ability to demand anything in our favor because we rely on them far more than they rely on us.

If not the United States, then they will simply get better deals with other countries, or simply get obliterated via Proxy from a global power.

Israel literally offers nothing to the world. No resources. No investment. Nothing, other than the innovations funded by the United States.

I don’t see what Gaza/Palestine has to do with the conversation, but even if Gaza/Palestine had any autonomy over their own economy, they wouldn’t have the ability to pursue any revenue due to Israel’s occupation of their maritime access.

The coast of Gaza is full of untapped offshore natural gas, so if they had the ability to actually develop an economy, they would make a ton of money from that alone.

Before 10/7 there were no Israeli troops in Gaza.

Guess what?

The Palestinians didn’t do jack to improve their economic situation.

Their Hamas government took aid money and used it to build rockets and command tunnels.

So don’t blame the Israelis.

They( the people) haven’t had elections for a long time. Much like Iranians who are

They used it to building bombs and command tunnels, and train for terror attacks.
