Pure speculation if Barbay gets fired after this season. Let’s say he does.
Who would fit in and want a great opportunity to recruit in major recruiting area?
Riley might get the boot at USC. He knows the our entire state and beyond. Who else?
I will say it will be very discouraging if Fritz sticks with Barbay after this season.
With that said, I can see him going for Bloomgren (former Rice HC) or Nagle (former OC for him at Tulane and current LSU TE coach). I hope he tries for UNLV’s OC but that guy will have a lot of programs pursuing him.

Will Stein from Oregon. Tell him he’ll get the HC once CWF hangs it up.
The UNLV OC could be another option too.

Case might of played in the air raid but as a NFL QB he has also played under many other offensive styles. If he ever decides wants to call plays as an OC then I think he would have alot more to an offense then just air raid.

I would love the hire for two reasons.
- Run N Shoot and spread offense pedigree
- Great recruiting connections on the West coast
You bring the above to CWF philosophy and we might have the perfect ying/CWF defense and yang/Rolovich high powered offense combo.

Fritz plays some things very close to the vest. I wouldn’t claim to know what he will do. All year he has been very diplomatic in how he spoke about the team. He isn’t as blunt or emotional as Holgorsen was.

Didn’t rice interview him last week?
Hard to tell. Willie isn’t easy to read. Journalists try to get him to talk about offensive woes, but he just repeats execution every time. I’m sure he’s dissatisfied with Barbay, but he’s not gonna tell people on the outside that.

I don’t think barbay is staying based on Fritz’s comments. I just think it’s his philosophy to build people up, coaches and players.
We’ll see soon though. Portal opens December 9, so any OC move needs to happen before then

Bryce Beall on the Let’s Rage Coogs post game said, he has talked with Case Keenum and he will be coaching in college sooner rather than later. Bryce coaches now and obviously played with Case and he said he will kill it as an OC somewhere.
