We need to hit on all cylinders on Saturday. We do not need ECU getting hot from 3 point land the way Tulsa and USF did in their second halves. They have been playing really well lately except for the last few minutes of their UCF game.

With their OT loss to UCF their top players actually had to log more minutes than our players did last night. Newton is the guy to watch. He took over vs Memphis and has been playing real good.
From what I have seen is they are not good defensively and we have some mismatches in the paint.I am sure they will be fired up but blowing a big lead at home to a struggling UCF team had to be quite a kick in the gut.

This is going to be a tough game. I think we win by upper single digit…I’m thinking we win by 9.

ECU has guards who miss games because of ankle injuries? Our team wouldn’t know anything about that.

Looks like we finally get Mark Adams as the analyst to one of our gms this year. He was schd to do opening Conf gm against UC b4 it was postponed of course. Good proponent and very knowledgeable on AAC Basketball.

Edit: if you know of Mark Adams, it will be all positive about UH & CKS. He’s huge fan of both the program n CKS. Way back in the day, he was actually an asst to Sampson. Sure u know the story.

I imagine it will have a lot to do with CKS making changes on the fly and our players the willingness to adapt.

For the opponent’s fans, he’s almost too pro UH when he does Coog gms. He has mentioned many times how he baby sat Lauren & Kellen when they were little. Knows the family very well.
