Where are we headed on the field because of him? 25 years in the past.
Yes he took us to the Big12 and got us a nice basketball arena. He could have done that without hiring and extending Holgerson.

Pez is the AD. He works at the pleasure of the university president. His job is running athletics. If he didn’t want Holgorsen extended then Renu would not have supported it. She literally pays him to operate athletics and give guidance and advice on expenditures.
Holgorsen’s contract is 100% on Pez. So is the 5pm shake-n-bake. I just feel like he’s weak.

I don’t know Pez, he seems nice enough. But, at the start of every season since he got here there are stadium issues. I assume everyone knows when the season starts so they can prepare?

Exactly. You should have the highest resource expenditure for your opening game. Its like your grand opening. You want everything perfect. It sets the tone for everything. Its the one where you want every attendee to be wanting to come back.
Yet it came off like a test run, to work out the kinks. Like Parliament’s John Bercow used to say, “come on man, use some antennae!”

To whom much is given much is expected. Yes Tillman has done alot for UH, but that doesn’t change the fact that THIS is an existential UH issue of Fertitta’s making and he needs to nut up and do what is best for UH. Status quo sure ain’t it.

Yeah, without Tillman we wouldn’t have to worry about not being good our first year in the B12 because we wouldn’t be leaving the AAC. Nor would we have the Fertitta Center and therefore probably not have CKS either. Yeah, he has created such a mess.

Bro. We get it I gave him credit for doing alot for us. As stated that doesn’t change the fact that this is a huge mess of his makings. The biggest mess in 20+ years in UH football. He needs to fix it. You expect DH will take us to the promised land? Your foolish if so.

Only thing I disagreed with Maggard about was the way he wanted to renovate Robertson Stadium instead of building a new one. Other than that, he did his job.

Tillman has done a lot of great things for UH. Holgi, however, is doing all he can to negate them. It’s like eating a wonderful meal, then drinking sour milk (Holgi) and throwing it all up.

Bro, I get what you said and just disagree with dumping on TF, he has been a savior for UH athletics. I have supported CDH just like I have all of our past coaches until they were fired or did us dirty. As long as he is here, I will support him because if he does bad, we suffer. Do I think he will take us to the promised land? I’m to the point where I just want to win more than we lose this year. Who knows, maybe we will catch fire. I won’t worry about next year until next year, but I won’t shed a tear if CDH isn’t here next year or the year after. Now, if he has a big turnaround, I will be happy as a pig in mud.
