I guarantee you Tunsil will tell you he’s not played well to start the year
Guys. We screamed and cursed for Dana Holgorson to be fired.
The majority of you were okay with Willie Fritz replacing him.
Reality:
• UH doesn’t rank getting a top tier football coach (& can’t pay the salary or the buyout for one).
• There’s “No Guarantees” that coaches from G5 or FCS will also succeed at UH.
• P4 college football coaching contracts will include buyouts (like it or not).
This season:
• I’m disappointed in the passing game (big time).
• I’m excited about our defense(big time).
• I’m excited about our running game. If QB can start getting ball to our receivers, that running game will get even better.

You’re right about Tunsil. My rant was more sarcasm than anything.
FWIW Tunsil did the same thing last year. I think he should be at all training camps until he corrects those mistakes.
Our former HC, in spite of his “expertise” as a judge and developer of QB’s left us without one ready for the new conference. McMickle looked good but he is injured. CWF had no time to recruit one who was ready or get a one in the portal. Receivers often run open, but are not spotted. When they are thrown to, it is often late or poorly placed(see int in end zone thrown to inside rather than outside shoulder with defender in area). Things like this will work their way out with an adequate QB, not necessarily a great one, who doesn’t make mistakes, scores some points, and keep our defense fresh. I have confidence that Fritz will deliver on this and other, OL, needs.
