Every time UH and Texas Tech plays each other, there's always a brawl amongst fans

Football is even worse.

I did my undergrad at A&M.

All it takes is one trip to Lubbock as a visiting fan to NEVER go back again.

My ex-girlfriend was from Louisiana getting her degree to become a CRNA at the TMC. She absolutely hated living in Houston. She did her internship in Lubbock and couldn’t wait to get back to Houston.

Tech gets its fair share of students from the Houston area thus the animosity towards UH.
I know quite a few Coog grads who have kids or grandkids who go or went to Tech

I totally agree. I have a golf partner at the club I belong who is a TT engineer grad (nice guy and not an AHole). I asked about going to a FB game in Lubbock as a visiting fan and his response was No and Hell No. His quote - Our fans in Lubbock treat visiting fans far worse than UT treats their visiting fans. I asked why he said I think we are insecure and down right piss poor. There you go. Right from the horses mouth. Their grads know they are scum bags.

That was a great game. Tech played as well as they could and still almost lost. Tech is good practice.

Didn’t Holgorsen actually warn us about Tech fans lol?

Tech is a horrible school with horrible fans, so not surprising.

Lol yep, think I remember him saying they do bad things with those tortillas, and not to eat them…he didn’t reveal what it was, but insinuated that it was nasty

Dana only had a hate boner for Tech because he apparently got passed over for the HC job multiple times.

Well that’s what the Tech people say

Saw one TT fan try to “rush the floor” at the end of the game and got arrested and escorted to jail! LOL!

The best answer to these num nuts is to beat them at their house. This is going to be for me a pre-test to March madness. You watched the presser. CKS was clear. We did not match their intensity. As a coach saying this you can be sure it is a clear message to his entire squad including bench players.

100% agreed. Blowing them out at home is the best answer.

First time I’ve had an opposing fan shoot me the finger for no reason. Just trash people.

TBF - the few Tech fans in my section were pretty cordial & friendly, even cracking jokes with UH fans over the crazy calls for both sides, going into OT, etc.

Hell, I even had 2 Tech fans sit next to me & I was being as loud & emotional as I can ever remember in the FC

Didn’t realize they were Tech fans (they were wearing red, but I didn’t notice the logo), until I saw them timidly (self-consciously, even ) cheering when Tech was scoring free throws in OT.

Techs house.:sob:

My sister is a Texas Tech fan and never went there. She talks about what a great school it is, like it’s Harvard. When I asked her what so good about the university, she said it’s a great school because they offered a football scholarship to a local h.s. player.

Me too.
