*Houston- tough loss in a game we should’ve had. Everyone hates the blue jerseys

*Kansas - preseason #1. Kj Adams is back & they get boat raced in the 2nd half to an undermanned Baylor team. Kansas is now 6-4 in Big 12 play. 3 games back of 1st place. No one would’ve predicted that

*Kentucky - the whole fanbase saying we’re better without Calipari. And he goes into Rupp Arena and beats you soundly. Check social media, UK fanbase is dejected after the loss

*Iowa State- after a devastating loss to Arizona. They lose to a below .500 Kansas State at home. And it wasn’t even close

*Mississippi St- loses by 27pts at home to Missouri. Was 14-1. Has now lost 5 of their last 7 games

*Michigan State- Spartans had won 13 straight. And they lose on the road to unranked USC. Next up Tuesday at UCLA

Florida- you get held to 44pts at Tennessee. In a 20pt loss. Your best player Walter Clayton Jr injuries his ankle

Gonzaga- a team that beat Baylor by 40pts opening night. They lose to rival St Marys Saturday. They’re now 16-7, 3 losses in the WCC. Not the elite Gonzaga we expected

Marquette- with UCONN down, this is the year Marquette wins the Big East. Instead UCONN wins at Marquette Saturday. Marquette also previously lost to Xavier at home. And now St Johns is in 1st place in the Big East…the Golden Eagles now have at St Johns & at Creighton upcoming

North Carolina- preseason All American RJ Davis returned this season. Expectations were top 25 UNC team. Instead its been a disaster. North Carolina is now 13-10. Have lost 4 of 5. They got annihilated by Duke on Saturday. They’re trending towards missing the tournament

the top 25 poll will be interesting, by my count 9 of the top 25 that played yesterday lost, going to be movement all over. i’m really curious what happens to kentucky, do the pollsters consider that a one off with the old UK coach coming back or think UK might not be that good and needs to drop more than one or two spots.

as a UH fan I feel great, perennial top 10 program, every game is fun to watch, the competitiveness is always off the charts. tech played their asses off and shot well. I remember the Brooks/Drexler/McCallum/Dickey days.

Back to back Saturday’s of being the “game of the day,” I’d rather have competitive yet comfortable wins, but we’re definitely getting the most out of watching college hoops.

Their predictive metrics are too good to not get a bid. Resume is definitely pretty mid but the #12 team in the net isn’t getting left out.
