Was that the Geology and Earth Science building?

Nevermind. Read the article. I saw the space shuttle blow up on a TV in that building. I mean the space shuttle didn’t hit the TV. But you get what I’m saying.

Curious what Norb thinks of this. Seems like a step away from Urbanism and a step towards aesthetics and livability.

What about putting a grocery store, bar and restaurant in its place with access road? Is it even possible?

I low key kinda liked that building it was so quirky. Had a class there once felt like I was in a Friends episode. However, that general area of campus is possibly my favorite spot so this looks like it will make that area even better so I’m excited to see it when done

I think tearing it down is to increase green space there but I could be wrong.

FH mostly gone now; just a pile of rubble. Looks like some new concrete pours now in place on both renovation projects around ECullen. Looks like the pours are just plain concrete without the historic pebble covered walkways that were in many places over campus. Bit disappointed to see if that is the case.

Last I heard was the education department was just scattered in other buildings. They are not building a new education building from what I have read, so not sure that helps the educational aspect on campus for people wanting to teach. Campus will look nicer though.

It was the education dept building.
