Iām not into rock music so the only band I listened to growing up was Linkin Park.
I am mostly a rap, hip-hop, pop, and EDM type of person.

I donāt consider LP rockā¦.IMO, they are alternativeā¦.they were also better before the started playing all that top 40 sh-t.
This is typical for major events as hotels block rooms based on NCAA assignment (schools, media, etc) Once block reservations are confirmed, the NCAA will release the remaining rooms and prices will drop some.

I looked at hotel rooms and thought $400-$500 was excessive. Went to vrbo and found a 3BR house about a mile from the stadium for $300/night. Whoever owns it must not have gotten the memo about jacking up the price.

I donāt know anything about Linkin Park, but I know someone left the cake out in the rain in MacArthur Park. It ruined it with the icing running down and everything.
Same Mike, know zilch about Linkin Park. In my hey day I used to run every day at Memorial Park, but no singing was involved. Who are these Groups. 
What is the latest āRockā band you remember jamming to ? Doesnāt matter what age you were.
Prob Like 15+ yrs ago and really putting on the headphones ( real onesā¦ not some wireless baloney ) with 5-6 components stacked up on ea other. 
. Iād say Foreigner , Boston, Journeyā¦ thats as Hard Rock I ever got into. Those 3 were my go to what i called Rock in 70ās, 80ās. Anything from 90ās on forget it as far as comparison. I love listening to music still but I just get on my laptop n play at a level it doesnāt bother the wife or the dog !!
edit: actually it would have been prob less than 10 yrs ago but it still would have been from my heyday. Never heard Linkin park or some of these others mentioned in my life, nor do i want to ā¦ I rather go mellow out to Eagles, Fleetwood Mac any day over any Linkin Park.
No shame in saying I saw Neil Diamond in concert twiceā¦ took my Mom for her Bday in the late 80ās or soā¦ she cried the whole dang time. My wife & I also went on our own abt 10 yrs ago or soā¦ heās really good. N no I didnāt cry ! .

But I like other genreā¦ saw Michael Jackson , Lionel Richie, Madonna all more than once bc I would get backstage tiks in 80ās through work. We Sponsored all them. Yeah I saw some stuff around downtown on AIRBNB at $900-1000 a night without fees I even saw a single room in a house on the loop for $250, your host most not have realized the coming demand.

It depends on what you call a āRock Band.ā Some mean hard rock which I have no history, to others it includes the Beatles. If you go with the attached, I guess I would have to say the Beatles, Creedence Clearwater Rival (my favorite), and The Marshall Tucker Band.

I was definitely ahead of my time. Prob bc i was the youngest, so heard lot of Beatles music as young kid.
CCR is one of the greatest as wellā¦Linkin Park also jams, it creates a bridge between hip hop and rock
