My husband and I are selling our extra tickets for Saturday. 2 tickets, section 101, row 34, $1200 each. Please send DM if interested in purchasing. Tickets in this section are currently going for $1,300 + fees on resale sites.

You need to lower the price. Tickets are available in the same section for much cheaper.

As a first time poster in the group, and posting on behalf of my husband, I didn’t realize I needed to specify the proximity to the basketball goal in addition to the section and row.
Damn!
Rule one of ticket exchanges on online forums:
Rookie accounts should always be held suspect. Versus someone that has been following along on this website for a while and has credibility.

Damn. This forum can “hold me suspect” as much as they want, but my husband and I have been long time season ticket holders for multiple sports at UH, along with many of our friends who can verify our credibility. Just because we are new to this website/forum doesn’t mean we aren’t credible or unfamiliar to the culture of the University. I appreciate the feedback though, hopefully some admin sees your concerns and starts vetting the “rookies” around here.

That’s not where we purchased from, so I guess that’s the issue on difference in pricing.
Looks like prices are dropping slowly as we get closer to Saturday, these resellers might even sell for a loss instead of not selling at all

There is a UH ticket exchange group on Facebook that maybe more accommodating.

Coogfans traditionally give everyone a hard time trying to sell tickets above face value. I am surprised no one has asked if they could have them if you don’t find a buyer.
We usually wait till game day to do that.

Thank you! We’re part of that group as well but thought we’d try here first since this platform was new to us and potentially a new resource for future ticket gives/sales. I can see now that it was the wrong choice. I’ll go post on the ticket exchange page and hope for the best!

HWS. I can confirm they purchased from third party site on Sunday after the game.
I got school tickets today and invited them to the game. They are unloading the tickets they previously purchased at cost.
You owe her an apology for trying to recoup her cost.

She posted making it sound like she was selling extras under price from the UH allotment.
HWS Coog I didnt take it that way. The lady was trying to dump tickets and recoup some of her cost she made that very clear. You ran the poor lady off. Coogs eating Coogs, somethings never change.
