Final Home Game Attendance Numbers

Colorado and TT brought a LOT of their own supporters, lots of black shirts for Colorado on the visitors side and don’t even get me started about how many Tech fans there were lol

Tech and Colorado drew because they were at night!!! Got nothing to do with Sanders or what uniforms we wore…There is a reason Coach Yeoman’s teams played so many home games at night…We DRAW better at night…Always have…The biggest thing Nunez can do is get us more home conference games at night! He is supposed to be working on that.

Yeah, the blue uniforms had nothing to do with the attendance.

The only game that likely had 30k Coog fans was Tech.

We need to stop kidding ourselves and the Athletic Department needs to go to work on selling season tickets next year.

Going 2-3 at home vs FBS isn’t going to help. Scoring under 20 at home six times in last two years is really hard to take for folks used to 40-60 points in the past.

I’d like to lower prices across the board to try and bring new folks in. We always ask the same 2,500 folks to spend more. Try something new.

The photo was taken from a different year before 2024. Look at the video board and no suites.

Oh and no indoor pratice facility.

The reason attendance is bad is because we do not have a large fan base …fan is short for “fanatic” and we don’t have enough of those …Colorado and TT brought fans our attendance was about the same …

We are NEVER going to need over a 40K stadium. NEVER. More than likely there would be a downgrade in capacity in the future if anything is done to the stadium renovation wise. Other schools are renovating by downgrading sizing - Rice, Oklahoma, etc… My guess would be the 3rd level on the away side could be ripped out and we could put more premium seats/suites up there potentially stealing some of the 2nd level seats between the 30s as a ‘club seating’ which would drop maybe 5K off the stadium capacity.

Personally I’d like to see the 3rd level ripped out and a single story (maybe 25-30’ ceiling height) building put up there which would be a club between the 30s (taking the seats on the 2nd level between the 30s) and covered party deck and suites between the 30s and the end zone on each side of the building. Build a huge awing that extends from the top of the building out some distance off the building to provide some shade over on that side during day games. Would help keep more noise in the stadium, provide shade, and provide another club/elevated experience for many.

The truth is we have about 15-20K hard core fans. Hard to fill a stadium double that size. Your ATMs, UTs, etc… have 10X times as many fans as us so they can fill those 90-100K stadiums.

32 k isn’t bad overall

3-3.

We have about 4k to 5k season ticket accounts.
When I did the seat renewal back in May, my spot was like 2300 out of 4800.

The average account probably has between 3-5 seats which leads to about 16,000 seats.
Then 8,000 students fill in and we have about 24,000 in attendance.

You’re wrong. Just making an assumption based on what the fence sitters “might” be influenced by. The “Space Game” or whatever it was had nothing to do with it like any amateurish gimmick. They turn out.

They are dumb if they didn’t think a coach in his SECOND year, in the NIL era, wouldn’t win at least 8 games.

8 games is barely above average plus we play in the "every body beats everybody " Big 12…there is no Alabama or Ohio state in our conference

SMH on this program

End of first quarter.

Not bad for an AAC team, bad for a BIG 12 team. We just lost a recruit because of our lacking fanbase, but this will change in time as the university and the student we have change.

Could see us have 60k-70k stadium in the near future.

In the era of every game being televised, the television production being amazing, and times being announced 6 days before, more people will stay home and watch it.

It is happening everywhere. You used to have to go to the game or catch it on a network or maybe espn. Now it is a rarity to not be on espn plus. You get your own bathroom, whatever you want to eat, and when your team starts to crap the bed you just change it to one of the 30 games on tv. We will never need to expand. Shoot, after the first quarter you could have removed the top tier on both sides and we still would not have filled the bottom bowl.

Yeah, it was nice walking in, and it was amazing in the shade, but those north side seats were :fire: :fire: in the first half, and not in a good way.

How many UH alums live in metro Houston? Anybody know?
