Final Home Game Attendance Numbers

Cool. Guess your parents, and you, by extension, shouldn’t have been able to go to a real school.

We went to the university of Houston, loser

And you don’t want people like your parents to be able to go to UH in the future. You’ve made that very much explicit.

The average high school student doesn’t go to college so they don’t have any list of preferred schools.

Do you know anything about our history?

We arent making great strides…literally investing BILLIONS (not your money) into our academic and athletic sides to maintain a graduation rate in the 50% range.

That’s horrible and if You think that is great…youre the problem

Renu Khator’s, in her RECENT State of the University Address AGAIN stressed…

WE HAVE TO GET OUR GRADUATION RATES UP.

Shes harped in that almost every single time she opens her mouth.

We’ve moved up the University hiearchy due to OUR HARD WORK…

What im saying…there are better matches, cheaper optiond, for students that want to PLAY COLLEGE than us these days…weve earned that right because we demanded excellence

We do need to get our graduation rates up. But this doesn’t sound like the post of a person who thinks first-gen kids are a problem the way you do.

Dude…go back and listen to her State of the University address a few months back …im guessing you never did…or don’t listen to them every year.

She’s fought her A$$ off to attempt to bring in high ROI students…FINALLY.

You’d definitely run her down if she posted her true vision here anonymously.

Require freshman to live ON campus!!!..blasphemy

You haven’t even read any of the articles you’ve shared on this board. I’m not listening to her State of the University speech just to prove the thing you keep talking about isn’t actually what she’s saying.

Do you not see the AAC logo on the field

Hope that WVU game is in late November so I can snowboard Snowshoe otw back to NC…

Thanks for proving my point about your connection to the University of Houston that you don’t even care enough to listen to your alma mater’s annual State of the University Address.

Post some more articles you haven’t read about it, big dog.

I think you should respond more about RK without knowing her true vision.

Other than her lack of interest in supporting our Greek System, ive been 100% aligned with everything else she’s said/done despite the ridicule i endure in this site.

Thats ok.
Thats why WE fight

Fixed it for you.

She wants a primary resident canpus even so much as fighting politicians over it and is spending tens of MILLIONS on landscape improvements

she wants athletics to be the “Front lawn” of HER University

She’s raised tuition steeply in the last two decades that UH is hardly "affordable " to the working class

As of fall 2025, she’s still harping on our low graduation rates

She’s never once indicated that the commuters that have been the lifeblood of our university for the last century will be unwelcome or forced out.

I understand that you are oblivious of your own arguments.

You claim UT and aTm are destination schools and I explain it’s because of academics, not sports. And that kids going to the same university as their parents is nice, but not a deciding factor for kids.

Yet you misdirect in your replies so then you’re either ignorant, or intentionally misleading.

If you can’t understand that her WISH, if it was 100% up to her, is for ALL Freshman to live on campus is a drastic sea change to our mission statement then i don’t know what to tell you.

Context clues, my friend

Im not going to continue to have this argument with an autistic person that can’t connect the dots.

More students living on campus + higher graduation rates + athletics front lawn of her University

Those are NOT traits of commuter schools…nor of UH even 25 years ago…BEFORE RK arrived

If there’s one thing this university has fumbled is its support of the Greek and student organization system.

A lot of it is partially due to students, but the way our admin has handled and stopped it from flourishing is part of the system that’s stopping us from being a destination university.

Personally want to talk with Mrs. Khator over this issue. A healthy, large greek and student organization system helps expand the active alumni base, and creates connection to the university.

Also, agree with having students live on campus the first year. We should have a few mile radius that exempts people in that area as to promote development around the campus.

Again…TT and LSU are ranked LOWER academically than UH…yet they seem to attract a lot of students that have them ranked over UH.

Your argument doesn’t hold water
