7 final fours, zero titles, and the closest schools with zero titles have 5 final fours. We’re basically the Buffalo Bills of college basketball.
It’s not the worst situation in the world, but not the best.

Just my opinion…
…and I agree coming up short is not the best…
But I say it is WAAAAAAAY better to have been oh-so-close than never or rarely close.
For me, “close” wins over “hopeless”.
Especially since …right now…we remain a real contender in this golden age with still a legit chance to not be “the Bills” forever.
Being one play away from finally breakng thru is a good thing.
