You should have went to games in the Astrodome before the banned smoking. You could barely see the field
Likely
Even funnier! Youâre on a roll sport!
âTruly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.â Matthew 25:40

Do you remember what year that was?
The Google says 1995 for the seating areas, and 2006 for the rest due to citywide ban.
Was anything going on in the dome in 2006? Astros moved out around 2000.
Huh, I just donât remember smoking in the dome in the 90âs. Maybe since I wasnât a smoker I just blocked it from my memory.
I donât recall. But if you look at the old oiler videos there is always a haze over the field due to the cigarette smoke. They also used to have cigarette machines all over the dome
The Tyndall Effect: When thousands of fans smoked in the enclosed, brightly lit stadium, microscopic smoke particles became suspended in the air. When the harsh overhead stadium lights hit these particles, it scattered the light, creating a glowing, hazy âfogâ.
Add a few dozen monster trucks at the tractor pull and a demolition derby and a guy blowing himself up in a barrel, and the haze was even worse!
BTW, way off topic, but anyone else there at the Dome for this one? https://youtu.be/Tncdz1ph5n8?si=fIttNDG8hFAUZfx0
