Not a Good Coach at Home…yet
UNLV, Iowa State, Texas Tech, West Virginia were Home games where we were out coached and out played.
Yeag…weve beaten some mediocre teame but we look JV to ones with a pulse.
Hope this turns around

We also beat K-State at home last year and Arizona may very well look like a better win by season’s end. Not beating a top-10 team in year 2 of a ground-floor rebuild isn’t cause for alarm. The only one of those that I’d describe retrospectively as an upset is WVU.

When we hired Fritz, you didn’t see Tulane fans coming on the message board to thank us like Wyoming fans did when we hired Dimel and WVU fans when we hired Holgorsen.

So, 7-2 following:
4-8 after being hired at the end of recruiting season,
Overcoming an empty cupboard,
Losing then replacing a key coach, Defensive.
But yeah, he needs to go.

If anything UH needs more of a Carnival Barker type of coach to draw in potential T shirt fans

I was joking dude.
Fritz is 7-2. We lost to Texas Tech who has an SEC roster, and to WVU where we lost because self-inflicted mistakes (fumbles, interceptions).

Could be something to that. Checked the numbers from last year and it turns out Fritz is 0-3 when we only have 25k in the stands lol
The WV game is the only game so far under Fritz that we lost but should’ve won. We had a close one with Oregon State but pulled that one out. Against the Texas Tech, they just had more talent on the field.
As to last season, both UNLV and Iowa State won 11 games. It was a miracle we won 4 games last year. Our offense was that bad.

We’re 7-2. He can only beat the teams they put in front of him. This guy is right on schedule. I thought we’d win 6 total this year. I’m not a guru but I always thought Fitz would have his system and his rhythm down in year 3. Everything this year is icing if we just make collective improvement in the areas from last year. Making improvement is a hallmark of Fitz. But there will be some bad hiccups along the way.

Some folks won’t be happy till back to averaging 50 pts and putting up 700 yds game …of course that comes with allowing 45 ppg and 550 yds/pgm going 7-5 and playing in the Boca Raton Bowl against Kennesaw State
