It’s really hard when you don’t try to freaking score when you have the opportunity.
If we get kicked a f****** field goal to end the first half we’d have only been down by one score late in the game.

Willie is just an interim guy, maybe another year or two max. Our recipe for success has not been with guys ready to retire. Better not hear anything about an extension. Let him finish his contract and see where we are.

The real big take away was the Turnovers and Defense. If we played at our normal defensive level we blow them out, no debate.
IMO, this was a freak game, against a team with nothing to lose. Let’s see what they do against UCF, BE READY!

The offense did fine except for the turnovers. Without points off turnovers West Virginia doesn’t win this game. They were worth at least a 21 point swing (they wouldn’t have had 17, we would have had at least another fg if not td). At least two turnovers were flukes, it was just one of those games. RichRod isn’t a moron coach, and they have Big 12 players too.
We should have won, and except for the turnovers we did enough to win. Just gave them too many extra possessions, short fields, and momentum swings.

Dude, Holy Sh*t. Horrendous take. We’re 7-2, ahead of schedule, making a bowl game with a soon to be amazing recruiting class.
Willie wins no matter where he is. Yes, today was a horrendous game on the defensive, turnover, and fanbase metrics but he isn’t an interim guy.
Actually having an adult who knows how to run a program, with the potential to win 10+ games in his second season here isn’t something to scoff at. We as a program have 9-10 win seasons out of our 80 years of play, and have a chance to add to it.
Enjoy the ride man, don’t be apathetic and bitter. I’ll eat crow if Willie doesn’t meet our lofty expectations, but he looks out for the team, players, and coaches, something that couldn’t be said about the previous HC. He’s on a great trajectory right now, and I hope it continues. Let’s take it game by game people.

Why do you keep inferring UH was in the red zone? They were on the far 20. With a QB who was having trouble gripping the ball, if he turned it over you’d be the first one bitching.

The problem was not being prepared to start and getting down 14-0 easily. Never could recover from that. The lofty stats are just padded since we were playing catch up the whole game.
Taking a knee with 1:00 and 3 timeouts at the end of the 2nd is all I had to see to know that Fritz is a chump.
After the 1st fumble and Fritz not getting into QB1’s ear about it, shows lack of accountability.

I haven’t complained about a single turnover.
We threw the ball long on 4th and short but we can’t try to score at the end of a half.

Amazing the over reactions, last week he was a genius now he’s running a stone aged offense. You can’t beat anyone when you trun the ball over 4 times. 17 points off turnovers, we lost by 10. We beat ourselves today.

The game was tied at halftime, and we had the ball to start the second half. We definitely weren’t playing catch-up the whole game.

Last week after being up 24-0, his stupid conservative offense allowed ASU back in the game. That should not have been close! That should have been a 31-7, 38-14 type win.
