Front page of the Chron

You might be a victim of recency bias based on the last 4 years of the Post’s existence, we were hitting our darkest years in athletics.

This season is why we were kept out of the big time for so long…. Just like when we showed up to the SWC.

Yes, when the Southwest conference folded, the sports editor of the Chronicle decided to feature UT, A&M and other B12 teams over local teams, UH and Rice.

That’s when I decided to stop purchasing the local paper! (30+years a subscriber)

Since both UT and A&M will both be in SEC next year, I have not heard if the Chronicle has decided to feature SEC teams next year?

I will never purchase a Chronicle newspaper!

Misleading thread title, I thought you meant on the front page of the whole thing.

Relegated to subsections for “local schools”, as if an intermediary between high schools and the real, big time he man colleges.

The Post sucked….their sports page was like three pages.

The only way to do it right was to get both of them. Neither was very good on its own, but together they were decent back in the late 80s into the early 90s. It was a sad day when the Chronicle shut them down in '95, but they had really declined by then.
