Also true, but saying one person is not fair to the rest of those defenses in 2015 & 2016. You have several players from those defenses that have or are in the Pros. Bowser, Adams, Roberts just to name a few. There was another linebacker, cannot remember his name, 41 who was fast and could hit.
I miss that toughness we had.

It’s CFB thing there’s poor tacking throughout CFB. Coahes not letting them do full tackling in practice, hence all the miss tackles

I was very surprised he never made it in the NFL. Sure tackler.
Sam Brown was another that I thought somebody would want, but I was wrong.
Very rare that the Herman teams missed tackles, because they went in very aggressive. And when they hit they wrapped up and others came in with additional hits.

There’s a lot of timing in hitting and being hit. You have to do it over and over to learn how to use the laws of Physics to your advantage and not get hurt. And its easier to take a hit when you’ve been doing it all week.
I honestly don’t understand the strategy of “no contact” practice in college football. It seems more dangerous long term
