One of the best Juco players in the nation has committed to Houston. Awesome get!
He was one of six freshman listed among 50 players.
Great find.
A couple of those freshmen signed in April with 3 years to play college ball. So Grant is one of the Top 4 returning Jucos.

Looks like he could be a Damyean Dotson replacement
Apparently, UAB thought they had him: https://thedailydragon.com/2016/09/16/uab-looks-to-make-more-history-with-heralded-juco-forward/
And Wichita State was going after him hard: http://www.kansas.com/sports/college/wichita-state/article102048672.html
He put nice numbers as a freshman at the Juco level. I expect those numbers to be even better and dominate the Juco ranks. He also plays for one of the top teams, Three Rivers in Missouri. I’m hoping for Jonathan Simmons 2.0
Patrick, now if CKS can get Febres real soon , this class would be pretty stack with 2 ships left to give.
Definitely

Junior wing comes to Cougars from Three Rivers Community College

Grant, who stands 6-foot-6 and weighs 220 pounds, will compete as a junior and have two years of eligibility with the Cougars beginning in 2017-18. The Chicago native chose the Cougars over West Virginia, Wichita State, Missouri and UAB.
“Gabe is one of the top junior college wings in the nation. He is an outstanding 3-point shooter with a high IQ and really understands the game at a high level,” Sampson said. “Gabe is a good rebounder and is a player that can come in and impact our team in his first season.”
6’6" 220 pound guard…he will not be pushed around. I like this.
I think he is a small forward. Adewunmi is the guard. Both are 6’6 and have strong bodies.
That makes much more sense (especially since all of the text refers to him as a wing…I should read more carefully). Not sure why he was listed in the image as a guard. Would’ve been awesome to have a Magic Johnson sized guard on the team.
Sampson has several players he plays at different positions, I guess for match up purposes.
