Game 14: TCU @ #12 Houston (W 65-46)

Sukie said it right. No persons were at the pumps, just their cars.

Of course I exaggerated. They do not have 9,000 pumps. But they have a lot. A whole lot.

We did go inside the one in Luling in days past. It is truly gigantic, and has more stuff to buy than there are Stars in the sky.

I looked it up, its 8912 pumps

Thats the business model…

Juniors in Wharton? I think they closed. About 2 years ago they sold to someone else and their management went downhill. No lie, they charged me over 3 dollars for a fountain drink. I used to stop at Juniors every Friday that I went to Ganado and got a bbq sandwhich until they switched management or sold the store.

Praseks in El Campo is the real deal though. They don’t have the shopping section that Bucees does. You can stop at Bucees in Wharton then Praseks after.

I mean, the business model could be get your gas, then park your dang car so others can get gas, then go shop for 45 minutes

And yet I roll up and have to drive up and down that super crowded lot and wait.

Get gas and park your cars… for your fellow man

There’s always a Loves Truck Stop close by… across the freeway or the next exit.

They work just fine and the gas is cheaper too. Bathrooms are clean enough to piss in, but you do need to hold your breath if there’s a trucker in one of the stalls.

We’ve been to some places where the wife says to just keep on going and look for some bushes at the next exit. If you gotta go bad enough…
