For everyone’s sake, let’s hope not. Cincinatti chili is the most wretched glop ever served and this counts the military and school lunch rooms.
No chance the voters don’t put Smith on the first team
Three of the five are freshmen.
Wowza.
CKS was giving him the business on the bench, too…
So overrated…
The whole game… ![]()
Like every time something went sideways during the game, he went down there and yelled at JoJo.
I’m sure Tugler wants to be on the floor doing battle with his guys, but I’m also sure he’d like a lot less of Sampson’s attention on the bench.
It’s been 35 years since I’ve had any, but I loved Skyline Chili when I lived in Ohio.
The key is, don’t think of it as chili. It’s not chili.
No one’s going to Waffle House for bowl of their chili, right? But it’s damn good on scatteredsmotheredcoveredchunkedtoppeddicedandpeppered hash browns.
I will die on this hill. Probably from a myocardial infarction.

being at home should wake the team up a bit but idk about blowout since we’ve blown them out maybe twice since wes been there as crazy as it sounds lol
The good news is that you won’t have to fight anyone for it. It’s all yours.
This will be an interesting game. Things I am looking for:
- How many minutes does Tugler play?
- Is Sakho productive when he is in?
- UH was sloppy handling the ball against TCU, resulting in turnovers. Has that been cleaned up?
- Does Milos come out of his outside shooting slump?
- UH needs better production from Walker and Harwell.
- I keep waiting for Miller to make it all happen. Is this the game?
- Will we see McFarland? Will it be meaningful minutes or mop up duty?
Celestine a starter for Cincinnati
I think we cooked him defensively late in our last matchup
Baba Miller- the key for Cincinnati tmw
Kordel is a weird situation. I keep seeing pictures and videos of him practicing, but he’s always listed as “out.” Maybe he isn’t really practicing as much as just doing shoot-around? I wonder if they decided that it would be in his best interests to just pursue a medical redshirt for this season.
I guess he just had knee surgery in early January, so it would be pretty quick to be back on the court, especially since he couldn’t really practice leading up to the surgery.
Cincinnati has gone from a thin bench to no bench and this is going to be effect their defense.
Bearcat fan here. I hope you’re all doing well.
I give UC a Planck length above zero chance tomorrow. The Bearcats are oh-for-the-season away from 5th/3rd Arena this season. That will not have changed by the final horn. We’re just playing out the string up here. Wes Miller has a vulture resting on his shoulder.
I understand your feelings but Cincy will come in tomorrow and play a tough, physical game.
They always play the Coogs tough and I expect this game to be no different.
Honestly, I taught a class in Cincinnati for AT&T and there was a Cincinnati Chili place across the street from work. I tried it. It was OK. However, the organic shakes with your choice of herbs and vegetables was a hit at the place next door.
Kordel shoots after practice. He might do some in early pre-game as well, but he is not involved in contact. Ramon was in this situation for a good part of last season.
Oh dang… didn’t realize Haynes. Harris & Abaev were out…
Edit: Nevermind about Big Slime… knew he was out.
The problem hasn’t been toughness or effort. The Bearcats are a very poor shooting team. Aside from Day Day Thomas, no one who’s shot enough to qualify for ranking has hit at least 33% from the arc. Statistically, the worst shot is a long two. UC’s guards shoot a lot of them and seldom venture deep enough into the paint to create for themselves or others. Hence, they have a KenPom offensive efficiency ranking of #214, the second worst position in the P4 conferences (BC much worse even than that). That more than counteracts a Top 8 defense.
Then again, maybe the blind pig finds his acorn.
