I’m happy with the win. I hang “W’s” around my neck like Fiddy hangs gold. Don’t care how it happened or why. Every game is a street fight.
Don’t look now but KSU is playing some of the best ball in the conference. Doubtful they could still earn a play-in spot but they could win the conference tourney.
Which is very, very common in basketball. It is a way of conveying how many possesions are needed for the team that is trailing late in a game (or half) to possibly catch up. Particuarly in the shot-clock era.
Example…in an NBA game with say 45 seconds left…Team A makes a free throw to increase their lead from 6 to 7. It is almost a guarantee that the announcers will say “3 possesion game” at that exact moment.

The fact that it was close is my fault. I was at gymnastic practice until 5 minutes were left in the game. Once I started watching we kicked ass.
