They have nine Sweet 16s in a row, and we have five.

Two longest active streaks in the nation.

Do you think the committee purposely places opponents in brackets to create match-up stories like this? This and the Pitino/Calipari thing don’t seem like luck.

The Selection Committee are ADs who care about TV ratings & $$

This year clearly proved with;

*Louisville 8 seed
*North Carolina, Xavier, Texas getting in. They have no set criteria for bubble teams

Gonzaga most bracketologists did have as an 8 seed. But, they’re more of a 4/5 seed probably

-120 Juice aint bad either.

Think I’ll just do the monely line for -215 Juice

I don’t see why they need a selection committee anyway unless they need it to play favorites. Put all the metrics in the computer and let it spit out the 68 teams and seedings.

Shouldn’t be that hard to do.

Just get ChatGPT to do it each year

Here is some Gonzaga v Big 12 (and Houston) smack talk. (tongue in cheek so please pardon the intrusion)

The Zags exceed the following schools:

Texas A and M
Texas Tech
Houston
Baylor
Colorado
BYU
Arizona
Texas Christian
Utah
Cincinnati

in the category of most members of the Pro Football Hall of Fame. And Gonzaga is undefeated in Football since the 1941 season (the Zags dropped football after Pearl Harbor.

the problem is the consistency is non existent

more of Battle’s thoughts on the UH defense

Committee looking for one streak to end. But the two most winningest programs over past 7 years with UH on top.

Josh Pastner kind of looks like Ben Stiller.

That’s actually impressive. I would have never known that about Gonzaga. What are your thoughts on the game?

We win.

After watching Gonzaga as an 8-seed yesterday and Memphis today at a disappointing 5-seed, seems like these two could have been switched for a more equitable seeding.

Take away Gonzaga’s starting point guard and they too wouldn’t look like their seed.
