Duke fan here … to play NICE. I am objective. I wouldn’t say that youngsters or one and done can’t win - Laettner, Hill, Hurley won as youngsters… MULTIPLE TIMES. 2015 Duke was a one and done team … somewhat… and won the title. I am an objective fan… its CRAZY that the possible best player - Cooper Flagg - is a freakin HIGH SCHOOL SENIOR. he shouldn’t even be in college. I WISH he was a college freshman. I am so ready for this 6th year covid crap to be over. NOTHING AGAINST ya’ll but you shouldn’t be playing in college at 24 - I personally gradueated from college at age 20 … Again, objective Duke fan here.

I think you will be impressed… a few Cougar fans have come already and were kind and both sides were impressed ! As someone upthread said in our board he will always love UH as his second team for opening their doors when he was in law school because his school had to close. So, Duke fan here. Again, PLEASE come to “dukebasketballreport.com” - we are very welcoming. Would love your insights over there and rational discussion ! We even have videos of why your defense is so good etc. Love getting to know the opponent. Do you ice or hedge on D? Blitz? ( I think the video says you do)
Some objective thoughts and numbers - first, it is RIDICULOUS how good all the teams are this year. I saw you all thought the same. EVERY team in FF this year is better than uConn two years ago and I think last year too… really a shame for both Duke and Houston. I would happily let ya’ll have one championship and us another in last two years. UConn didn’t play anyone as tough as ya’ll or Duke to win two titles. Of course, most suppose that is duein large part to transfer portal NIL taking effect. But UConn had that last year and yet there were no teams as good as Duke, Houston, Fl or Auburn last year. Odd… and it stinks for BOTH of our teams
I did see a few replies like Duke couldn’t play in the BIG12. Odd, we beat Arizona TWICE (granted once early on) and lost to Kansas when they were ranked number one (again, granted, early in season but KU was better then it seems). Point being Duke is 2-1 vs top tier Big12 teams. NOT being pro-Duke. That’s just a number. ACC does stink this year but I am not sure how much that matters. The example is Gonzaga. WCC is far worse than ACC perennially and yet Gonzaga has played for the title and had many sweet 16s etc.
*To show my utter objectivity, Houston was better than Duke last year and I hate for the injury
Also, this Duke team is way better than that Duke team… again, I am objective. SEC was talking smack on how Bama was top 3 in best league ever…
Please visit our board and I hope Duke wins but everyone - especially this year - should be very proud of elite 8 and FF !!! Congrats on FF !!! I hate that people will probably forget this was the hardest year EVER by all the metrics

pesik, some guy at some point was said to have posted that and I appreciate you saying “that would be ridiculous”. Just like ya’ll would be great in any league. Any league ! there are always those fans. you know they type - “duke stinks” - ok, if you beat us by 7 then you are 7 points better than “stink” which is not great LOL. Instead, we should all admit these are 4 HISTORICALLy great teams. really is a shame ya’ll couldn’t win one and Duke couldn’t win one. In most other years these teams would take the title - I would be happy to give you last years title and we take this one, durn UConn had much easier runs
