This is the same argument my wife gave me last night when she put the UH blanket upside down on the bed.
Me: How many times have I asked you to put the blanket right side up? We don’t need this kinda jinx the night before the championship.
Her: I thought you didn’t believe in luck? What we do doesn’t affect the team.
Me: I don’t, but at some point in my life I’ll be wrong about something. I’d hate for it to be this.

Florida and Houston share four common opponents from this college basketball season: Alabama, Arizona State, Auburn, Tennessee, and Texas Tech. The Gators are 8-1 against them, while the Cougars are 3-3.

We’re winning this one. Its going to be just like all our other b12 games. We’re going to go up around 11 and cool off, heat up and make the plays at the end. All 3 bigs will dominate underneath. Wilson and Terrance will impact, especially Wilson, this has his game all over it. Poor Terrance last game, he ain’t playing Cooper now though. We’re not going to start tight either. Our guards our better collectively. Yall be loud for me! I’ll be watching with my 93 year old mom who is responsible for me being a coog. But im not missing another one if we win this!

All of that means nothing.The Bama and Auburn games had an Uzan who was still figuring out how UH plays. And we ended up beating Tech in Lubbock.
