Game 5: Tulane vs Houston (L 24-27 OT) "Blackout Game" game thread

To the 3rd string QB

But despite that sack, Tune is still the leading rusher

Tune makes this offensive line look worse than they are by holding onto the ball so long. Sadly, he really was a better QB playing with one hamstring last year. If we lose this game, we should bench him and look at other options for next year including the transfer portal. If we can’t fix that then Dana can be gone next year. Anymore sideline or locker room problems and Dana can be gone this year.

No but average QBs can only take great defenses far

That’s fine, we’ll take that. Tulane can have their million yards we’re tied.

I can’t coach this shite

Don’t say that. Next it will be "I’m not responsible! "

They are laughing at us on the halftime show

76 is our best lineman and an NFL prospect.

Are you saying our defense is great?

Tulane giving the Coogs a gift with two timeouts near mid field and not trying to at least get a field goal before the half.

We got this. Dana comes out at half and we blow them away. Have faith ya’ll.

This 100%. Put Lucas Coley. Swim or sink time.

Not behind at half and winning TOP. Go Coogs!

Not even in the same zip code as “average”.

Last year it was top 10. Those were the stats. Four of those guys are NFL players. Last year D was considered great

Not when Dana is not calling plays. As others said that touchdown pass was more like a Dana called play then the coordinator.

Yep. There was nothing productive to say about that half of football.

Surprised Tulane wasn’t more aggressive there too. And we get the ball to start 3rd.
