This season is sort of reminding me of 2019-20 where we started off slow but the team got better as the season went on.
His best role was energy big off the bench imo.

Two scorers, no help from the bigs or our so called best bench ever, and it all spelled disaster in this tourney.

I know Mercy is not much with defense but when we desperately need offense, I don’t understand him sitting on the bench.

I just checked Uzan’s stats, his +/- is -12, by far the worst on the team by a long margin, thats where the improvement needs to occur. LJ , Mercy or Sharp need to start getting real point guard duties

I have been wondering if NOT having a true backup PG was part of LJ’s recruitment. Selling him on the backup spot
That team was full of young guys and a transfer Grimes.
We basically returned everyone. We should have a leg up on everyone right now. We don’t.

Or wade taylor. Uzan ain’t it. Ball stops in his hands and he isn’t a good defender. Hate to say it but I think Samp missed on that one. I hope I’m wrong.
