It’s us right now.

Sampson kept the offensive scheme the same for the most part but changed up the rotation. Good changes. Jojo starting makes sense. Ramon and Mercy getting playing time makes sense. There were times when our offense played with pace, which was good.
Uzan is a good player and important for our chances to make a deep run.
We shot…….
52% from the field
50% from three
100% from the line
I think brick layers is being a bit critical
I think he meant it as “laying a foundation” “brick by brick”
Indeed. CKS is/has always been one brick at a time.
I remember hearing Sampson interview a few years back where he says that he doesn’t start working on offense until January. Through December his focus is defense , rebounding, toughness!
@1981Coog hes probably right, when we were in the AAC
Playing Tulsa, ECU, USF, etc
But, in the Big12. You gotta have some things figured out by start of conf play

I do agree that midrange is not where we want to be. To me that falls on the front line to be more impactful.
Roberts, Francis, Tugler, Walker, and Lath combined for 11 of our 60 shots. Hard to avoid midrange shots with that kind of production from the bigs.
We were 6/6 from the line, which is a great % but a really low amount of FTs to take.
This was our best rebounding game of the season. Finally looked like the Coogs, especially on the offensive boards.
Next up is turning teams over like we used to. We showed some signs of that getting back to where we hope to be last night.
I noticed Roberts being much more aggressive on backside rebounds. He came flying in like he did in his fresh San/sophmore seasons, like 7-8 years ago ![]()

Part of it is that they aren’t getting as many easy looks as they did with Shead. And the weaker offensive rebounding has taken away the put backs.
I like that he plays different combos. I would like him to give more of the bench meaningful minutes. Yesterday 8 players got decent minutes.
CKS alway says his players are tired around the end of February. The last few years he’s had a valid injury reason. But why is Cryer playing 36 minutes in a 28 point blowout? We saw the big drop off after his big tournament game. If we’re going to rely on him to be our leading scorer in March, we cant wear him out now.
Because Uzan picked up his 4th and no one else can run the point to CKS’ standard.
Coach said they have to find “the guy” to finish games. Base on what I’m seeing so far, that’s going to be TA. He has all the end game shotmaking and is fearless.
One reason for late arriving crowds are the lights on Scott Street. They are not in sync and you have to stop at each one – and then the trains come through with their 1 or 2 passengers.
I know Jacob McFarland is recovering from a broken leg, but seeing him yesterday, he looks lighter than a feather. I’m sure his injury affected his strength and conditioning program.
I noticed this, and I’m wondering, is it possible he runs this offense and Milos moves to another position?
