this tournamnet has such a great field, the sucky part about losing, is getting a bad opponent …
st johns and bama also lost was really hoping for one of them
before anyone talks about marcus burton and ND being decent… im sure this game will be competitive… but by seasons end, this game will be a non factor …
and in the current if we beat ND no one will see it as redemption for yesterday, this is a nothing to gain a lot to lose game…
arkansas has not looked good so far, and likely about to go on a losing streak… the schedule isnt looking that good this year

Burton, Haralson and Shrewsberry looked like pretty good players whn I watched ND… I won’t take this game for granted for sure…

ironically bama and st john’s didn’t get off too bad for their bonus games for it being a random draw lmao
i know they have players and itll be compeitive, we played them last year and it was competitive … but this 3rd game was a crucial piece in how good our schedule was goin to be… ND will be irrelevant by seasons end, like they were last year…win by 50 no one will care, lose by 1 and we are the biggest overrated team this year… i can recognize how this can be a competitive game, but also be really disappointed seeing the potential options it could have been

I’ve hated Notre Dame basketball ever since they eliminated us in the first round of the 1978 tournament. Woolridge, Tripucka, Laimbeer, Hanzlik… They had a pretty good team. Screw those guys.

If you going to play a game that doesn’t mean anything, play a national brand, like Notre Dame. They have a huge national following, and hopefully, if UH wins, it will be reported nationally.

I’m guessing that UH will be leaving after the game and be in Houston for Thanksgiving. That is a major positive.
