Mylik is a big asset off the bench. High energy
Hopefully he starts hitting his shots
We know who was ready to play this game and it wasnāt us.
We couldnāt be flatter. Lath looks totally lost
Heās balling tonight
Guyās fearless. I wish all of our guards would take it to the rack more.
Milos looks a bit better tonight, but Mylik just makes play after play when heās in. Dude just had a steal, a block, a bucket, a forced turnover, & then another steal, all in consecutive drives. Heās always the catalyst to our comebacks & when we put him back on the bench, our leads evaporate. Dude rebounds well, creates turnovers, & heās a capable shooter. I just dont see how you can keep him on the bench even if everyone is healthy.
Love Mylik but I think heās best as an energy guy off the bench. On the other hand unlocking Arceneaux and Milos (and getting guys healthy obviously) is the real key to this team reaching its full potential. Those guys ooze talent on the offensive side of the ball but sometimes just get a little lost in the shuffle.
The difference is Mylik makes use of every minute. I think heās the most athletic player on the team.
Not sure if he should start but he definitely needs 25 minutes or more. His dribbling has improved by quantum leaps this year.
Heās definitely the most athletic. He is close to Taze in that regard. He had a stretch where he got a hand on a ball like 3 passes near him in a row, had a block a steal and assist. As for his shooting, he is not a great shooter. Heās worked extremely hard to get better and has, but his career numbers donāt lie. Anyone expecting him to be a big time knock down shooter is going to be disappointed
It has, but heās going to turn it over more than Sampson wants and he doesnāt shoot consistently enough to supplant any of the starters.
Heās in the right role for this team.
Heās gonna get about that much playing time while Sharpās out. We like to call him āfresh legsā because anytime heās on the court he looks like heās playing on a full tank when others are half empty. I just think thereās a psychological advantage to having someone like him come in off the bench.
Arceneaux is the best passer on the team. I donāt mean from a turnover perspective but from the perspective of seeing the court.
When Arceneaux is on the court the ball just moves quicker. He didnāt play 10 minutes of the game last night. Had he done so heād have been close to a triple-double.
On related note, you can say that our biggest opponent the last two years has been injuries, followed closely by the B12.
It was 1992 and Horry played the man in 1992 and he was still better than 90% of the NBA. IMO Bird is one of the greatest ever.
So you saying Horry shut down Bird in some reg season game.
classic Coogfans response
Sometimes sh*t happens. In the 2nd half, TTU made 7 FGās. And we lost! Unreal. UH made 15 FGās in the half.
