I don’t know if I’ve ever seen a more jekyll and hyde run game but I’m glad we showed up to gash them on the last drive. It takes discipline to not abandon the run. The defense put us in a position to go back to the run as well.

Same goes for UCF too. Belfort was gashing us and we were collapsing on him. We were perfectly set up for a play where Belfort is a decoy. If it doesn’t work, kick the field goal. Instead, Frost panicked on third down and told the kid to throw deep.

Those Twitter geeks are wrong. There are 15 teams in the P5 + ND with two losses. Of those 15, 3 have zero wins over P4 teams with winning records in FBS games. 5 more have only one win over a good P4 team. We have TWO. Further proof? Ten of those teams don’t have a high quality road win. We have one.

This team is a good as its record. People will try to explain it away but we beat two good Arizona teams, outlasted a desperate and extremely athletic UCF team on a road night game, and have consistently improved our most questionable unit(OL). We have issues, but so does every other college football team. Anyone can be exploited.
