In the post-game presser, CWF said THIS about being the first team to defeat UCF in their Space Game: “We’re Space City.”
He went on to say that they showed the kids a video before the game about why Houston is known as Space City, implying that it served as a form of motivation to win the game.

I am concerned that Fritz won’t play anyone else. If
Weigman is having an off day, let’s try someone else. Also, we need a backup who has some game experience. What if Weigman gets injured?
Only at THAT point would I want to see another QB in the game.
Well, either that, or possibly in garbage time at the end of a blowout win type of game.
But someone else needs some experience BEFORE he gets injured. We need to see what Carlisle can do. He may be the backup next year.
I’d only put Carlisle in if it could be guaranteed that he wouldn’t burn his redshirt.
And I would NOT put a true freshman (including Carlisle) in as long as the game was still on the line.
I’d put Chriss in before Carlisle if it came down to an injury, and I’d trust a QB with I-FBS experience (Chriss) over one with none (Carlisle) if the game was still on the line. Carlisle needs a redshirt year for sure. Let’s not blow it. Moreover, let’s not criticize the staff for having that same philosophy (which they appear to), as it is completely sound for the reasons I mentioned.
Yeah, it felt like the team viewed this game as much more of a rivalry than in years past.
Well, since we don’t have a true blue blood, we need a real rivalry game. We can’t do a Rivalry Game that will compare to UT aTm. Even TT and UT could not do a rivalry game that was equal. UT v OU was still legit.
BU v UH is not going to bring eyeballs.
But if we can pump up a real rivalry game (and they were trying), then maybe they can get eyes on the game.
He did break free… a good QB would’ve burnt us…
I would really love to see a couple of blowout type wins – starting on November 22 against TCU.
