Again anyone who has an issue with Tune’s play today needs to realize the numbers he posted against this Auburn D were as good if not better than this year’s Heisman winner. He delivered with the game on the line. Kid’s a winner!
I agree. That was one tough team. Newhouse was 3rd string!
I like the enthusiasm, but you are a bit more bullish than I am.
I would for sure take Ridder over Tune. I thought Mordecai looked really good against our very good D in person, but I didn’t see his awful game against Cincy either. Ahlers was probably the next best QB we faced after that and I wouldn’t for a second consider him over Tune. A lot of posters just don’t seem to understand what a bad college QB looks like, even early on in the season (though Tune was terrible against Tech).
I think Tune has a decent shot to get drafted with some improvement, but more of a mid-late round pick. But Kolb went from late round/UDFA to second round from junior to senior year, so I wouldn’t put it past him making a big leap and climbing up draft boards.
I’ve always been bullish on Tune.
Ridder has a better supporting cast. Their OL is elite.
I love me some AMc. He’s not at Jerome Ford’s level. Yet.
I think Tune is a better QB than Ridder.
We’ve been spoiled with great QB play. Not saying we haven’t had some duds but usually even those guys are good enough to transfer out and start for big time P5 programs.
O’Korn says hi!
LETS GOOOOOOOOO COOOOOOOGSSSSSS
Tune was named bowl MVP. How is anyone complaining about him?
Same here…maybe a heshe…
Something I noticed on the replay, that one announcer on several occasions referred to Auburn as “we.” Nothing says homer more than that.
How about on that long run where there guy bearhugged our guy, they just laughed it off like it’s ok. I could go on, but it doesn’t matter, the game is over, we won, and all their crying won’t change anything.
One more thing I will say is that the Auburn fans before and after the game displayed great sportsmanship and were gracious in defeat. Their fans are so much better than the bitter announcer.
