I am saddened to hear about the death of General Ray Odierno at age 67 from cancer. I served on the Army Staff (G-35R International Affairs) at the Pentagon from 2014-2015 and prepared briefing slides and talking points for a few of his foreign engagements. I always considered him to be a MODEL Chief of Staff. Our nation has lost a true American hero. Rest In Peace!
